Brigitte Perreault

Award-winning Activist for Humanitarian & Environmental Causes, Brigitte is also an Author and Publisher. Her efforts with refugees and survivors of state sponsored torture has been recognized by 'Worldwide Who's Who'. In 2011, she founded the Humanitarian Art Project, a unique platform devoted to help non-profit organizations receive funding through Art. In 2013, Brigitte published her first book titled 'Why is the sky blue?', a scientific book with an important environmental message. Her book is used for classroom projects and sold in Science Museums. She believes in being a good steward for humanity and for the environment. Brigitte serves as a Leadership Member for the Global Symposium on Child Permanency & International Adoption. The First Symposium was held at Harvard in November 2014. She is now the Special Ambassador to Haiti for BEB.

For 35 years, Captain Paul Watson has been at the helm of the world's most active marine non-profit organization – the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society. Marine Wildlife Conservationist, Environmentalist, Master Mariner, Author and Writer, Professional Dive Master, University Instructor and Public Speaker For 28 years, Captain Paul Watson has been at the helm of the world's most active marine environmental organization – the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society. Over the years, Watson has exhibited a remarkable diversity in his activism. Aside from being a co-founder of Greenpeace in 1972, Greenpeace International in 1979, and founder of Sea Shepherd in 1977, Watson was a Field Correspondent for Defenders of Wildlife between 1976 and 1980. He was a field representative for the Fund for Animals between 1978 and 1981, and a representative for the Royal Society for the Protection of Animals in 1979. He co-founded Earthforce Environmental Society in 1977 and Friends of the Wolf in 1984. Watson's first affiliation with the Sierra Club was in 1968 and he has remained a Sierra Club supporter ever since.
